GIORGIO PRANDINA
I was born in Milan in 1996, after high school I decided to follow my passion: cars and engines.
I started to work as an assistant for Fr Automobili, a car Dealer based in Opera, to aquire the technical and commercial skills in the automobile sector.
I then joined Ford Ambrostore, to achieve a broader experience in the sale of cars and the quality check of second-hand cars.
I’m qualified to make expertise of classics cars and have attended various Exhibitions such as AutoMotoD’epoca in Padoa and Retromobile in Paris as vendor.
In 2019 I opened my (start up/ company/Business) GP CLASSICS in Pieve Emanuele and I am now full involved in its growth.
On Sundays you can find me at the traditional “car and coffee” meeting in Largo Richini in Milan, mixing with people who share my same passion for classic cars.
But when I have free time I like to drive my 1991 Mazda mx5 around Como lake with my friends.
This passion for cars and engines wasn’t born all of a sudden. It was deep rooted in my family history. My father was the first to foster this passion, He was a clever man with great aesthetic sense and strong values.
My father shared with me his extensive knowledge of cars and taught me to be perseverant and to follow my passion.
His first car was a second-hand Fiat 500L. Later he was gifted a Triumph Spitfire 1500 by a distant relative, thus developing his taste for British spider cars. He moved to Formula junior, prototypes, Group C up to driving Formula 1 cars.
I am deeply grateful for my father support and for his heritage of knowledge and contacts.
